ANNOUNCEMENT: Danske Invest Bond Fund – Changes in Fund Regulations

The Board of Directors of Danske Invest Fund Management Ltd decided in its meeting on 25 March 2025 to amend the Fund Regulations and investment policy of the Danske Invest Bond Fund. The Financial Supervisory Authority approved the changes on 16 April 2025. The Fund Regulations will take effect on 25 June 2025.

The aim of the changes is to clarify the fund's investment restrictions and improve its risk/return characteristics. Goldman Sachs Asset Management will continue as the fund's portfolio manager.

The changes will remove previous exemptions on the credit quality requirements for securities issued by Nordic or Finnish issuers. Going forward, the fund will invest only in Investment Grade bonds i.e. instruments with high credit ratings. Additionally, the current maximum duration limit of 10 years will be changed to a dynamic range derived from a benchmark index, allowing the fund's duration to be +/- 3 years compared to the benchmark.

Regarding derivatives, the fund now has the option to invest in inflation swap agreements. Overall, the investment policy will enable a more active use of derivatives as part of the fund's investment strategy. Consequently, the fund will switch from the absolute return calculation method to a relative Value-at-Risk (VaR) model, which is better suited for identifying and measuring risks in funds that actively use derivatives. The fund's gross investment level can now be up to 800%, and the VaR figure can be up to twice the benchmark index. These changes are expected not to affect the fund's overall risk level.

Upon the rule change coming into effect, the fund's name will change to better reflect the new investment policy. The fund will be renamed Danske Invest Euro Bond Fund.
